Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to assemble and test production subassemblies and systems for the 213 solid-state laser ablations systems. Initially, the technician would concentrate on the production build and test procedures currently utilized and transfer this technology to the Bozeman production group. This person would also be responsible for recommending product improvements to the engineering team.
- Assembly of and test production subassemblies
- Support Continuous improvement of existing products and manufacturing processes
- Support system-level integration of systems, along with the electrical and optical test of systems.
- Support office personnel in preparing and shipping production hardware.
- Support Field service and customer service when required.
Education:
Technical degree in electronics or mechanical engineering technology preferred, but not required.
Experience:
3 years preferred in a manufacturing environment. Basic experience with electronics, mechanical assembly, and optomechanical assembly and alignment preferred.
Requirements:
- High level of Mechanical Aptitude
- Follow written procedures for manufacturing laser-related products
- Work with little supervision to produce quality Opto Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical subassemblies
- Strong written and oral communication skill
