Full time, direct hire position for a Consumer / Commercial Lender with a well-established and respected bank in the beautiful Flathead Valley.
Overview:
Consumer / Commercial Lender will originate and service a variety of the bank's consumer and commercial loan products while working within the community to develop business relationships and grow the loan and deposit portfolio. Portfolio management includes maintenance, documentation, collections, and analysis of credit risk.
- Generate consumer loans, home equity lines of credit, and rapid reserve loans and process requests for Rapid Reserves and credit cards.
- Generate and service a commercial loan portfolio while maintaining an acceptable risk.
- Analyze financial and credit information and renew, amend, or extend existing loans within the portfolio.
- Present loans at Loan Committee and Board meetings as required.
- Review all 3rd party reports required for loan approval.
- Collect delinquent payments.
- Develop and maintain file documentation.
- Sell additional bank products and services
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or a minimum of 2 years of prior Banking experience required. The lender must have or be able to obtain an insurance license for product sales within 6 months of the hire date. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and be able to thrive in a position with minimal supervision.
