Overview:
Credit Analyst will provide loan support to the Lenders, working with internal personnel, current and prospective customers, and vendors such as insurance companies and government entities. Credit Analyst will be responsible to provide credit analysis for lending activities, conduct credit reviews, assist with annual renewals, and support lenders as needed.

Responsibilities:

Assist Lenders in analyzing existing and new customer requests
- Order, interpret, and analyze credit reports
- Collect and analyze tax returns and financial statements to assist in the preparation of loan write-ups.
- Prepare financial forecasts and pro forma statements in consultation with Lenders to assist in the assessment of borrower capacity.
- Prepare detailed Credit Memorandums with defined Credit Quality Expectations within Credit policies and procedures for review and approval.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding the status of loans in process, technical exceptions, loan documents, and other banking-related questions.
- Support Commercial Lenders
- Draft commercial loan set up sheets
- Serve as the liaison between Lenders and Loan Processing
- Examine documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review loan documents prior to closing and close loans with customers in the absence or at the request of the Lender.
- Annual renewals: ensure loans are renewed on a timely basis assisting with the renewal process.
- Support Loan Assistants as needed to include file and record maintenance, and certification, insurance, and appraisal orders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or a minimum of 2 years of prior Banking experience required. This is a new position for the growing bank so Credit Analyst must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Details:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Wage is up to $55K plus full benefits.
