Job Description
Looking for an experienced, seasonal, full-time tax preparer for individual and business tax preparation during tax season. The position is ideal for someone looking to continue applying their knowledge in tax preparation but has other interests to pursue the rest of the year. Option of re-hire from year to year possible for the right candidate.
Salary and Benefits:
Commensurate with experience.
Major Responsibilities:
• Tax return and workpaper preparation for diverse client base in wide range of industries (technology, construction, retail, manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and many others)
• Client accounting
• Communication and reporting to internal team including team meetings
Required Attributes:
• At least 3 years’ experience in both individual and business tax preparation
• CPA preferred
• Experience with small business accounting software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management, analytical, interpersonal, and strong communication skills
• Professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail
