WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Reporting to the Leader of Growth Marketing, the User Acquisition Manager over Paid-Per-Click (PPC) will be responsible for executing and optimizing aspects of the onX paid acquisition program, including Google Search Ads, Microsoft Search Ads, and Google Display. We are looking for someone passionate about search engine marketing and the outdoors.
LOCATION: Missoula, MT strongly preferred
WHO YOU ARE:
Search Marketer. You've managed paid search campaigns across the major platforms. You’re no newbie to the world of automation; you have experience leveraging manual & automated bidding strategies, making optimizations, and managing budgets.
Innovative Collaborator. Your skills stretch beyond PPC -- you're savvy with Google Suite and Data Visualization tools, and you have an A+ in “Data Literacy”. Most importantly, you know when there's an opportunity at your fingertips and are quick to loop-in and collaborate with creatives, data analysts & engineers to make it a reality.
Detail Lover. You know one false keystroke can topple an entire attribution empire. This is not a “fast and loose” role, and you like it that way.
Number Cruncher. By now, you know paid advertising is a numbers game. Mental math might not come naturally, but it helps if it does. (Formulas do, too.)
Spreadsheet Master. Do spreadsheets make you dizzy? Probably not. Spreadsheets make you hungry to extract the insights that will make your campaigns sing.
Revenue & Efficiency Driver. The beauty—and the challenge—of paid advertising is how easily it’s tied to revenue and company growth. That thrills you because you’re going to make a direct impact.
Ambitious Executer. You’ve crushed campaign management in search advertising before, might have some SEM certifications or app industry experience under your belt, and are ready to take on more campaigns, more channels, or both.
Essential Job Duties)
Manage Campaigns. You’ll identify and execute campaign management tactics daily across multiple campaigns and digital marketing tactics including—but not limited to—settings, targeting research, creative, landing pages, A/B testing, tracking, and analysis.
Optimize Constantly. You’ll work to maximize CTR and conversion rate through best practice adoption and continuous testing effort, all while lowering—or maintaining—CPAs as we grow.
Hit Growth Targets. We’ve got some aggressive goals, and you’re pumped to try to exceed them with quick and precise execution. You might even find opportunities for growth and efficiency that we haven’t thought of yet.
Analyze and Report. You’ll help maintain dashboards, providing in-depth analysis of the accounts and campaigns.
