Missoula based cybersecurity company is seeking a meticulous cyber security consultant with an emphasis in penetration testing, to keep us on the path to success. Penetration Testing Consultant
Responsibilities include:
· Conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and web application assessments
· Conducting remote and onsite social engineering tests
· Conducting risk assessments and information security assessments
· Writing security test and advisory reports
· Presenting results to clients
· Communicating with clients in a prompt and timely manner
· Documenting security test processes and procedures
· Mentoring interns and associates
· Assisting team members with related cybersecurity projects as needed
· Assisting with IT infrastructure and support as needed
· Ability to travel up to 25%
Requirements include:
· 1-3 years experience as an IT or cybersecurity professional preferred, or 1 year of experience in a cybersecurity role as an LMG Security intern
· Familiar with vulnerability scanning, discovery, and remediation
· Strong Unix command-line skills
Strong understanding of Windows and Active Directory
· Social engineering, coding proficiency, code review and threat hunting experience desirable
Red teaming experience extremely desirable
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Team player with positive attitude
· Proven ability to take initiative and follow-through on projects independently
· Effective and efficient time management and ability to multitask
· Willingness to learn new technologies and grow
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
· Ability to meet deadlines
· College degree required
