Position General Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the department, providing customer service regarding loan programs, pricing and adjustments, structuring loans and assistance in negotiating pricing for correspondent loan programs. Assist with packaging, shipping, and delivery of loan files to investors.  Requires a team approach with regular communication and interaction throughout the organization. Requires accurate data input into required systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1.      High School diploma or equivalency 
  2.      Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  3.      Strong problem-solving skills.
  4.      Must be able to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
  5.      Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Preferred:

  1.     Previous mortgage or professional office experience

Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies

Locking and Hedged Loans duties:

  •           Oversee, accept and confirm mortgage rate locks
  •           Resolve mortgage rate and pricing issues
  •           Assist in ensuring compliance with Federal regulations and fair lending policies.
  •           Stay current on changes to investor and secondary marketing policies.
  •           Process all lock requests and email confirmations to the requestor
  •           Enter locked loan information in LOS, including price and lock expiration dates
  •           Process extension requests, cancellations and revisions as requested 

Shipping and Delivery duties:

  •           Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the loan processing flow, including loan programs and related mortgage                    documents.
  •           Packaging and shipping loans for secondary market purchase.
  •           Transmitting Government data for loan guarantee.
  •           Tracking and submission of final documents to secondary markets.
  •           Correspondence, research and correction of all post closing issues.
  •           Tracking and disbursement of repair escrows

 Sales/Public Relations:

  •        Promote the improvement of Stockman Bank through quality customer service, promotion of products, professionalism in            conduct and diligent work ethic.
  •        Greet all customers pleasantly and make them feel welcome and comfortable.
  •        Effectively handle customer questions and problems.

Federal Regulation:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures that apply to and concern this position’s area of responsibility, including general regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and various other Federal and State regulations as they apply.
