Must have previous computer experience:

Preferred working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and/or other similar software.

High School diploma or equivalency.


Preferred 2+ years previous banking experience

Preferred previous experience with Bank Secrecy Act and/or bank compliance

Position Description:

The individual fulfilling this position will support the AVP - BSA/AML/OFAC Officer in managing Stockman Bank’s compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.  This position will support the AVP – Compliance Fair Lending Officer in monitoring Stockman Bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements in areas such as deposit accounts, loans, and marketing to assist in evaluating the level of conformity with regulation and internal bank policies.  

BSA/OFAC/Patriot Act Functions:

Review suspect Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and complete CTRs as necessary using information provided by branches and management information systems.  Follow-up with branches when information is missing or incomplete.

Collect and maintain records for cash sales of monetary instruments and other required BSA monitoring items.

Provide support and assistance documenting appropriate Phase I and Phase II CTR exemptions and monitoring exempt customers.

Perform 314a searches.

Review suspect OFAC matches and otherwise assist with OFAC compliance.

Assist in monitoring high risk accounts and other transaction activity to identify potential suspicious activity.

Assist as requested in preparation and distribution of training and/or other materials for branches pertaining to BSA/Patriot Act/OFAC compliance.

Other Regulatory Compliance Functions:

Assist with complaint processing.

Assist in the review of bank marketing material.

Assist with compliance monitoring reviews designed to evaluate compliance with consumer regulation and internal bank policies.

Complete other tasks as assigned.

Public Relations:

Support the business objectives of Stockman Bank by providing quality customer service, and through the promotion of products, professionalism in conduct and diligent work ethic.

Effectively handle questions and problems.

Federal Regulations:

Learn and develop a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act and consumer protections regulations applicable to this job description.
