Job Description

The BIM Coordinator will work directly with project teams and other Jackson Contractor Group (Jackson) staff on a variety of needs related to estimating, planning, and coordination.  Research, develop, and implement new technologies that may provide innovative strategies that enhance the experience and productivity of our employees and partners.

Essential Duties/Functions

  • Provide Revit/BIM management, leadership, model management, and support for all assigned projects
  • Work closely with project teams on developing BIM implementation plans, project startup methods and workflow strategies
  • Assist project teams with advanced Revit modeling requirements, content creation, and coordination efforts
  • Manage and organize Revit detail and family libraries for use between projects
  • Develop and implement Revit standards, and coordinate standards for specific project requirements
  • Provide Revit/BIM quality control, including model maintenance, reviews and application of best practices
  • Assist troubleshooting and resolving Revit/BIM application issues
  • Provide BIM application training to staff as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Skills Desired

  • Preferred experience with the following programs:
      • Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
      • Revit
      • AutoCAD
