Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) for use in demanding industrial environments. Vision Aerial systems are used in a wide range of applications including: mapping/surveying, fire fighting, infrastructure inspection and search & rescue. This position will require an organized, self motivated individual with an adaptable, fast learning attitude. As an early-stage company, we need someone capable of wearing multiple hats well and as our products are safety critical, we need a candidate with a maniacal focus on detail.

What you’ll do

  • Mechanical airframe assembly
  • Wire & PCB soldering
  • Wiring of the vehicle
  • Vehicle setup (calibrations, settings, test flights, etc.)
  • Participate in quality control procedures (bench tests, test flights, etc.)
  • Parts manufacturing (laser cutting, 3D Printing, etc.)
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Inventory stocking and kitting
  • Engineering projects

  • Extreme attention to detail (OCDs welcome!)

Bonus points for:

  • 2+ years experience assembling technical products
  • CNC machining experience
  • Engineering experience
  • Direct experience in the infrastructure, energy, or mapping/surveying industries
  • Photo & filming experience
  • Photo/Video editing experience
  • Drone piloting experience
  • Part 107 drone operators’ certificate
  • Prior experience with early-stage companies
