Job Description

The Transfer Pricing Manager will focus on supporting and offering expertise on Workiva’s US and international related party transactions.

 

What You'll Do

  • Develop, execute, and maintain the company’s inter-company transfer pricing policies including a technical deep-dive based on an understanding of the business and setting arm’s-length prices

  • Gather and analyze transfer pricing data to prepare and update transfer pricing documentation and other compliance documents for legal entities

  • Manage the transfer pricing components of local country tax audits

  • Analyze business and planning strategies

  • Research tax issues, prepare technical documentation and assist on special transfer pricing projects including M&A

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, legal, finance, treasury, accounting, etc.) to support the business needs

  • Partner with external advisors on transfer pricing projects

 

What You'll Need

Education

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

  • Related fields may be Economics, Finance or Accounting

  • Advanced degree/MBA preferred

 

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Public accounting, consulting, and/or multinational corporation experience

  • Experience applying & implementing US and international transfer pricing laws and regulations

 

Skills

  • Strong understanding of complex transfer pricing, accounting, and economic concepts

  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations

  • Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects while demonstrating outstanding organizational skills

  • Hardworking, quick learner with a positive ''can do'' attitude and solid professionalism

  • Work effectively in a team environment and partner well with people at all levels within an organization

  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment

  • Effective and fluent verbal & written communication skills

  • Advanced computer skills, familiarity with the Workiva platform a plus

  • Ability to research taxation topics and communicate or compose written analysis effectively

 

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel required

 

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

 

How You'll be Rewarded

  • Base Pay Range in Colorado: $98,000 - $129,000

  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

 

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
