Zoot Enterprises is looking to hire an Information Security Analyst within our IT Governance GroupThe Information Security Analyst is an entry level position which is responsible for performing many of the standard daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks required for information security compliance. This position assists with the following: analyzes and assessments of vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks), investigates available tools and countermeasures to remedy the detected vulnerabilities, and recommends solutions and best practices. Analyzes and assesses damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents, examines available recovery tools and processes, and recommends solutions. This position also assists with internal penetration-testing, web application testing and software testing. The position also provides support for information security’s role with clients, auditors, and Zoot internal customers. Additional responsibilities include documentation collection and tracking, coordination and support of IT Governance projects, and coordination and tracking of information security tasks, such as patch management and internal vulnerability remediation.
 
The Information Technology (IT) Governance Group focuses on the compliance of Zoot’s Information Security Program, which includes creating, enforcing, auditing, and promoting company policies, standards and guidelines, and procedures.
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Perform IT Governance log reviews and analyze to determine compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist with penetration testing, web application testing and software testing as needed.
  • Gather and present available tools and countermeasures to remedy the detected vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with analyzing and assessing vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks).
  • Drive the security document annual review process with appropriate owners and ensure changes are tracked as needed.
  • Coordinate and track internal vulnerability remediation and work with stakeholders to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Coordinate and track patch management.
  • Coordinate and track vault archive/inventory/media transport process and activity
  • Determine appropriate response to secondary level security alerts and ensure issues are worked to resolution.  Draft incident reports as required.
  • Participate in IT Governance projects.
  • Perform tasks related to new hires, transfers, terminations, and Z-Fit authorized guests.
  • Perform tasks related to business continuity plan documentation, program updates, and testing.
  • Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field required. 
  • 3+ years of related professional work experience preferred.
