Identity & Access Management Provisioner II - Billings, MT

This position may be located at any of the offices within First Interstate Bank's fourteen state footprint, including Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming.

SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this role will be the ongoing management of First Interstate BancSystems end user access to internal First Interstate banking system platforms.  The IAM Provisioner II will be responsible for provisioning, changing, and de-provisioning access, troubleshooting access related items, provisioning Privileged Access, creating service accounts, and provisioning access for external users, and participate in internal and external audit activities.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.

• Work from an IT Service Management System queue and provision user access according to standardized procedures.
• Follow standardized policies and procedures for the creation, editing, and removal of access across all First Interstate banking platforms. Complete provisioning tasks quickly and accurately.  Build new users with appropriate access, action transfers by changing user access appropriately, and remove user access upon termination of employment.
• Explain policies and practices related to provisioning controls to end users when questions arise.
• Work with System Administrators to create and update provisioning guides as changes to systems and provisioning methods are updated. Provide consultation on the impact to current state and make recommendation on future state processes.
• Accurately Provision Privileged Access, Remote Access, Service Accounts and access for external workers such as vendors, auditors, and contractors.  Work professionally with external workers to resolve potential access issues.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities, maintain documentation for future audits. Run and review reporting of IAM audit items to meet timelines for audit reviews.
• Assess and Resolve user access problems related to security controls to minimize business impact and risk exposure.  Follow up with end users on access issues after provisioning is completed. 
• Provide a positive end user experience in any end user interactions with other First Interstate Bank employees when assisting in issue resolution.
• Update management on any known issues or escalations that require management visibility or interaction.
• Develop an understanding of the principals and concepts of bank operation, loan operations and financial systems principals.
• Stay informed of technology needs and regulations for all bank applications used at First Interstate Bank.
• Work collaboratively with team members and follow direction as provided by manager and/or appropriated team members. Ability to work alone or in a diverse team environment to complete required tasks.
• Work in a professional manner with other groups and vendors within the First Interstate Bank organization to complete provisioning tasks and issue resolution.  Ability to work alone or in a diverse team environment to complete required tasks. • Develop the ability to act in a lead capacity on projects as needed within the IAM team.
• Ability to refine current workflows and suggest updates to streamline current procedures.
• May be required to work after hours and weekends as needed to accomplish work tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BS or BA from a college or technical school and a minimum 3 years of experience with a technical focus; or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.

OTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding and experience with Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with or exposure to Privileged Access Management systems (ie. CyberArk, Thycotic);
• Experience with or exposure to Identity Access Management processes, procedures, workflows, and concepts such as periodic access reviews, IT General Controls, access governance, experience or understanding of IT Audit expectations
• Experience or exposure to roles and entitlements, role-based access control
• Experience or exposure to automated access provisioning using tools such as SailPoint, Omada, CORE Security or similar, experience or exposure to manual access provisioning
• Understanding of Microsoft PowerShell and Command Prompt.
• Understanding or exposure to programming languages such as SQL and Java a plus.  
• Must be able to follow directions and procedures and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently. 
• Must be a self-starter and detail oriented.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Strong communication skills are critical to allow effective communication with customers to build positive, professional relationships and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors and internal customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
