Strategic Accounts Executive (Experienced) - (SaaS/Martech)

THE POSITION - Strategic Accounts Executive (Experienced) - (SaaS/Martech)

As an Strategic Accounts Executive, you have a proven track record of selling enterprise software into Strategic/ Enterprise/ Key Industries and prospective accounts. Here, you’ll generate new revenue selling PFL’s Tactile Marketing Automation. You're adept at engaging and gaining trust with C-suite, Director, and VP level marketing leaders at global enterprise companies (Fortune 1000, Global 5,000). You'll have a large national territory and will focus on specific verticals for example Healthcare, Finance, and Higher Education, and others.

The Strategic Account Executive position is a senior, quota carrying sales role. 

If you have; a stellar track record of selling complex software solutions into major accounts, winning new business, are a self-starter, and love working in a dynamic environment - The PFL Enterprise and Strategic Accounts sales team is for you.


  • Tenacious Seller - Hunt new logos, close deals, and exceed quota.

  • Territory Leader - Know the players, lead account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles. Negotiate customer references.

  • Strategic Planner - Develop and communicate effective account plans.

  • Marketing Acumen. Effortlessly speak MarTech/ AdTech/ Strategic Marketing

  • Patriotic to Process - Driver, meticulous - you follow through to close.

  • Customer Savant - Actively understands each customer's strategic growth plans, marketing strategies, marketing technology stack, budgets & timelines.

  • Trusted Advisor - You establish strong relationships based on your attention to customer requirements, and commitment to value (value of counsel and expertise, the value of solutions, the value of implementation expertise).

  • Quota Crusher - Record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Record of success driving deals through prospecting, discovery, solution proposal, and closing new business.

  • Generate and simultaneously manage multiple sales opportunities through the entire cycle, working with cross-functional teams

  • Pipeline planning - Follow a focused approach to maintaining a rolling 4Q pipeline. Keep the pipeline current. 

  • Compelling presentation skills - Deliver our value proposition, product demonstration, and core values in an educational and engaging way.

  • Thought-leadership - Represent our company credibly in the market.

  • Attend industry events and grow our presence within the market (post-Covid)

  • Coordinate with our customer experience team to ensure a seamless transition for clients to the Customer Success onboarding team.

  • 5+ years’ of sales experience, of which two years involved a complex solution sales process into the C/VP/Director level decision-makers in Marketing, IT, Sales and Procurement.

  • A minimum two-years experience in one of these market sectors: Healthcare, Finance, Higher Education, SaaS.

  • Prior sales methodology training preferred.

  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time (post-Covid)

  • Ultimately, you’re responsible for closing deals to meet or exceed quota.
