About this position:

Intern will work on civil related projects for all 11 hydro facilities. Intern will research construction files and documents and summarize pertinent data into various formats prescribed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commision (FERC), perform light engineering assignments and assist with field engineering tasks at the hydroelectric dams.

About this job:

  • Assist in the collection of field monitoring data such as weir & piezometer measurements
  • Research historic construction documentation, summarize and organize into formats as prescribed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in Supporting Technical Information Documents (STID)
  • Assist hydro engineers with engineering tasks, project management, report writing and project research
  • Traverse steep terrain, wet surfaces and be able to lift materials up to 35 pounds
