A marketing or graphic design major interested in gaining real-world experience. We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable individual with fresh, creative ideas and an excellent eye for detail.

What You Will Do

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the Chief Strategy & Operations Officer with creating attractive and engaging content for AED. This position is focused on the development and execution of a marketing plan, including the creation of content for AED’s website and social media.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with development of a marketing plan that includes creation of marketing campaigns, online promotions, blog posts, etc.

• Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials

• Collaborate with executive team to develop design concepts

• Create and design print and digital visual identity assets using graphic design software

• Utilize graphic design elements to create content that is appealing to potential

  audiences

• Create and share engaging content such as text, images, and videos

• Assist with development of social media strategy in alignment with company goals and

  values

• Provide support for social media efforts, including monitoring engagement on social

  media platforms and interacting with requests on social media posts

• Monitor social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels

• Measure the success of social media campaigns using key performance indicators

  (KPIs)

• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for

  scalability

• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline

• Optimize website and social media

• Other tasks or duties as assigned

  Requirements

  • Business Marketing or Graphic Design major

  • Experience with graphic design

  • Familiarity with various marketing platforms

  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic

    design fundamentals

  • Experience with InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and Illustrator

  • Strong creative and analytical skills

  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work

  • Extensive knowledge of social media

  • Professionalism representing AED when interacting with staff, vendors, clients, and the public

• Driven and hard-working

• Ability to take direction and multi-task

• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization
