Summary:

The Learning Technology Administrator plays a central part in the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, recording, and maintenance of instructional resources used for Workiva’s learning functions, both within the company and the Learning Management System (LMS). 

Serving as the primary administrator for Workiva’s LMS and integrated training tools, this role ensures their efficient operation. In addition, the Learning Technology Administrator provides essential administrative support by managing daily LMS tasks: producing reports, assisting employees with LMS inquiries and training, and acting as a knowledgeable resource for the success and continuous functioning of the system.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and maintain Learning Ecosystem pieces, including LMS configuration, creating user groups, defining course structure, deploying enrollments, defining user permissions, and creating course catalogs

  • Configuration and catalog administration of curricula, instructor-led courses, eLearning courses, videos, and materials such as policies/acknowledgments.

  • Testing and deploying new / revised SCORM/ e-learning content in various learning formats.

  • Coordinate and continuously improve LMS / LXP administrative processes and activities to create the best possible experience for our learners.

  • Consults with SMEs and content development teams to provide insight and direction in the development of training materials

  • Manage Learning Ecosystem reporting requests, maintain and update learning analytics dashboard and metrics, and build ad hoc reports as needed.

  • Coordinates with and provides support to HR, IT, and stakeholders for LMS system migrations, integrations, change management, and user management processes.

  • Coordinate with vendors for feature requests, technical escalations, integrations, and best practices

  • Provide support, guidance, and assist with prioritization of instructional designer work

  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of LMS updates and enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain LMS / LXP administration processes and procedures, including user management, and content curation.

  • Write and revise documentation for system configuration & standard operating procedures

What you’ll need

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Learning Management System (LMS/LXP) administration experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience administrating Degreed, WorkRamp, and/or Workday Learn.

  • Adept at facilitating learning related to the use of learning technology.

  • Proficient in the use of common content creation tools, including Articulate, PowerPoint, Qualtrics, and Google Suite, among others.

  • Experienced in learning systems, with a strong track record in troubleshooting and system configuration.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, with a high level of comfort working with Excel and spreadsheets.

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, and/or technical support

  • Solid project management skills, with exposure to project management platforms like Monday.com being a valuable bonus.

  • A passion for collaboration, whether it's with stakeholders, learners, or vendors, to craft exceptional learning experiences.

  • The ability to seamlessly switch between high-level system details and the management of individual projects, such as user management processes, complex learning programs, and reporting.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to influence individuals when interacting with learners at all levels of the organization.

  • Versatility in handling a diverse range of tasks, from strategic planning to task execution.

  • Proficient in conveying ideas and requirements while effectively influencing others.

How You’ll Be Rewarded:

  • Salary range in the US: 

$79,000.00 - $134,000.00

  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

 

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
