About this position:

Provide technical support to the Hydro Engineering team through a variety of assignments in the office and at the hydroelectric dams. The engineer will be expected to use knowledge of geology and geotechnical disciplines to assist project management in researching solutions to rockfall issues at the dams.

About this job:

  • Learn about hydroelectric dams and projects while assisting hydro engineering staff with various light engineering tasks
  • Research, scope, and develop cost estimates to mitigate rockfall issues at various hydroelectric dams
  • Contribute to a variety of tasks assigned to hydro engineering including the collection of data at the hydroelectric sites
  • Participate in organizational work meetings
  • Lift 35 libs and traverse rough terrain, stairs, ladders and wet slippery surfaces
  • Occasionally travel out of town overnight
