As a key member of the Corporate Leadership Team, the Chief Information Officer leads the development and evolution of the Information Technology strategy, which includes the management of all IT personnel to achieve strategy. Additionally, the CIO fulfills a corporate responsibility role of advising the President and Board of Directors regarding all IT-related activities of the firm. These responsibilities include:

  • Lead the overall strategic direction, coordination, and evaluation of technology services 
  • Develop and administer the Company’s IT security strategy, policies, and procedures for network availability, security, and related issues  
  • Evaluates new equipment, software, and processes to continuously, recommend changes as appropriate and oversee their installation  
  • Lead and train IT staff; executive level management of vendors, contractors, and service providers. 
  • Support current business needs through exceptional value-added IT services  
  • Oversee and participate in the development of the IT budget, including capital expenses pertaining to technology projects 


  • Possesses strong business acumen, strategic perspective, and change management experience
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience in mid-large size professional services firms, engineering, architecture, or construction firms preferred 
  • 5+ years serving in an executive management capacity leading teams and strategic initiatives 
  • Advanced background in company networks, security, applications, programs, and processes for multi-site, growing businesses 
  • Forward thinking to evolve IT and practices to the advancement of the tech space
  • Bachelor’s degree that supports experience. Advanced degree preferred. 
  • Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with senior leadership, employee-owners, managers, internal and external clients
  • Must have driver's license and an insurable driving record
