You are experienced in leading teams, managing organizational operations, executing strategic initiatives, and evaluating financial statements. You enjoy analyzing market trends and maximizing an organization’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.

What You’ll Do


·       Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team alongside the Chief Executive | Engineering Officer and Chief Product Development Officer.

Strategy & Business Development:

·       Develops, in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, a comprehensive strategic plan and growth strategy.

·       Leads and manages Business Development staff.

·       Assists in the preparation and review of product development and manufacturing contracts and statements of work.


·       Provides strategic and operational direction of AED’s marketing efforts.

·       Develops and implements marketing strategies to achieve company goals.

·       Identifies new project opportunities, cultivates partner and client relationships, and executes marketing initiatives.

·       Develops content, messaging, and social media strategies.

·       Oversees development of marketing collateral, including AED’s website, brochures, and other materials.

·       Manages all external communication channels, including social media.

·       Develops a community engagement and outreach plan.

·       Represents AED at community and industry events.


·       Analyzes profit margins and identifies opportunities for improved efficiency and growth.

·       Analyzes pricing models and makes recommendations for how to best sell AED’s products and services.


·       Prepares, negotiates, implements, and monitors operational consultant contracts.

·       Participates in the planning of strategic initiatives and identifying and mitigating strategic risks.

·       Manages and/or oversees special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO.



·       10 years management experience

·       Proven track record of leadership in strategy and business development.

·       Strategic thinker with a visionary mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation.

·       Educational and/or professional background in a technology related field, preferably engineering and product development.


·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field.

·       Pass a comprehensive background check.

·       Candidates must be able to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control and ITAR compliance laws, which require proof that the candidate is a U.S. person.

·       Professionalism representing AED when interacting with staff, vendors, clients, and the public.

·       Organizational skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks independently.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.
