Position Overview: 

GL Solutions actively seeks a highly motivated and seasoned Systems Administrator to join the dynamic team at GL Solutions. The ideal candidate offers a strong understanding of IT infrastructure management and problem-solving techniques, as well as the ability to manage complex workloads.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deploy, manage, and monitor Azure resources and services. Ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency of Azure Environments.
• Set up and configure software and physical and virtual (Azure) hardware and networks.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure audit and inventory records are current.
• Keep systems updated with the latest software and hardware upgrades.
• Conduct regular backups and data recovery operations.
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Monitor and manage firewalls to ensure physical office, virtual networks (Azure), and remote sites remain connected.
• Implement security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
• Evaluate and Improve System

Qualifications: 

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
• Preferably 2 – 5 years of experience in a systems administration role and 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using management software and tools.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, network management, and system security.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including experience with Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, and cloud services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
