Pay Range: 70 – 140k depending on experience; postdoc salary follows NIH guidelines

immunotherapies for cancer, autoimmunity, allergy, and infectious diseases. We’re a dynamic, 
well-funded team with strong academic and industry connections, looking for an Immunology 
Investigator to lead exciting R&D projects. 

Position Overview: We seek an immunologist (Postdoc, Investigator, and Director levels will be 
considered dependent on experience) to join our R&D team and contribute to the development 
of novel innate immune therapeutics. This position requires expertise in immunology, including 
vaccine research, immuno-oncology, cancer biology, autoimmunity, infectious diseases, and 
allergy. A candidate at the Investigator or Director level will lead the immunology research team 
while Postdoc candidates will gain valuable leadership skills as they learn how to manage a team. 
Scientists at all levels will provide scientific leadership, design and execute experiments, and play 
a key role in securing funding and publishing findings. You will supervise staff, collaborate across 
disciplines, and have the opportunity to patent and publish your research. 

Experience levels for Investigator/Director positions:  

  • Investigator III: PhD and <2 years of experience in a post-doctoral fellowship or other relevant 
    work experience
  • Investigator II: PhD with +3 years in a post-doctoral fellowship or other relevant work experience
  • Investigator I: PhD with +5 years’ experience in a post-doctoral fellowship or other relevant work 
    experience
  • Director: PhD degree with a minimum of 10 years of direct experience in management function 
    and demonstrated performance at a high level 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead immunology R&D and research team
  • Lead collaborative R&D projects (internal/cross-functional collaboration and 
    collaboration with academic institutions and external companies)
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments in in vitro and in vivo models
  • Conceptualize, coordinate, write, and submit collaborative grant and contract proposals
  • Write and submit manuscripts 
  • Mentor research personnel and contribute to team development
  • Present findings at conferences and collaborate with external researchers
  • Report results to senior management & participate in company strategic decisions 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • PhD in Immunology (or related field), at least 2 years post-PhD experience preferred
  • Deep experience in at least one of the following with knowledge of the others: vaccine 
    research, immuno-oncology, allergy, infectious disease, autoimmunity
  • Expertise in in vivo models, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, assay development, 
    and cell culture 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and grant writing skills
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead teams
  • Strong publication record  
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing and securing external funding
