The Corporate Support Specialist position is responsible for corporate technical support issues and workstation management (e.g. desktops, laptops, phones). The Corporate Support Specialist position is fast paced and ever changing and requires regular management of changing priorities.
The IT Operations team is part of the Production Operations group and is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, operation and support of Zoot’s infrastructure and software. The team develops and uses tools for automation of operational tasks and analyzes system utilization and performance metrics to ensure optimal operation of Zoot’s systems and environments.
The Production Operations group is responsible for managing the configuration and day-to-day running of the software infrastructure, monitoring live applications, identifying and resolving issues that arise in the production environment, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of the software product by quickly addressing incidents and minimizing downtime; essentially acting as the first point of contact for any problems users experience once deployed to production. This group performs tasks like configuration, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, incident response, system performance optimization, and user support.

- Perform end-user support to Zoot's corporate environment, including, but not limited to workstation applications, user management applications (e.g. Active Directory), business applications (e.g. Accounting), and communication applications (e.g. Email).
- Provide related companies end user support – user administration, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other system problems, and replace defective components as necessary.
- Assist the Service Desk with the triage and remediation for customer service requests.
- Create and track purchase orders for workstation configurations; hardware and software.
- Create and maintain general reports and responses to audit requests.
- Assist with evaluating and recommending IT solutions, products, and services based on day-to-day support.
- Work with other personnel/departments to analyze requirements and alternatives and make acquisition recommendations (e.g. conference room configurations or phone setups).
- Exercise security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
- Respond to requests to assist in critical problem resolution, including after-hours support needs.
- Make changes to the corporate environment in alignment with Zoot’s policies, procedures, processes and best practices.
