Industrial Maintenance Technician - Lewistown

Your tasks

• Clean and lubricate equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and ready or put away tools as assigned.
• Follow directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Install new production equipment.
• Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
• Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.
• Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.

Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area.

Prepare and submit maintenance reports.

• have a High School Diploma, or equivalent And 8 years of industrial/production equipment maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, industrial control systems, OSHA safety standards, and/or industrial maintenance technician.
• preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or other formal education in the repair, troubleshooting, installation, optimization of Industrial production equipment.
• have reliable attendance: Consistent presence in the designated workplace to support operational needs and team collaboration.
• have sound judgment and decision-making skills: Ability to assess situations accurately and make well-informed decisions to maintain efficiency and safety.
