Job Description

Position Overview:

Superior Traffic Services needs a full-time employee to manage the human resources aspects of an ever-growing company. 

Job Description:

  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for company employees; assists in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Investigates employee relations issues, complaints, and conflicts in the workplace including appropriate documentation and follow-up
  • Participates in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
  • Advises managers on people-related issues and needs; work with managers to address and resolve performance issues
  • Prepares employee onboarding and separation documentation
  • Works with managers and advise them on handling separations and exit processes
  • Applies knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
  • Coordinates with payroll processing
  • Directs the preparation and maintenance of such reports as are necessary to carry out functions of the position
  • Ensures employee records are complete, accurate, confidential, and legally sound
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Manages Worker’s Compensation claims
  • Performs benefits administration in conjunction with the CFO

 Qualified candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years in human resources at a management level
  • Have a bachelor’s degree

Working Conditions:

  • Weekdays with occasional work outside of typical business hours
