Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Associate to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our colleagues. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with all Federal, State and Local payroll regulations and reporting requirements. The Payroll Associate will also uphold MMA’s reputation by conducting business professionally with colleagues, clients and vendors.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Administer the tasks of payroll processing, including but not limited to compensation changes, deduction changes, processing of newly hired and terminated employees and payroll administration of leave payments.
  • Complete payroll templates to include, Hours/Earnings Templates, One Time Payment Templates, Deduction Templates, Taxable Fringe Benefit Templates, and any other Templates required.
  • Reconcile payroll liabilities and facilitate tax and benefit vendor payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations.
  • Participate cross-departmentally with Human Resources and other colleagues with payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide support to employees in the areas of: pay, benefits and taxes, how to enter time or time off, and where to locate forms and information related to pay and benefits.
  • Participate in organizational initiatives and community involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We take pride in providing our colleagues with a competitive compensation package; we will honor all local and state salary thresholds. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. TAdditionally, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives, annual profit sharing and a benefits package that includes paid paternity/maternity leave, medical leave, 401K savings and other wellbeing programs. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
