Field Service Technician 

Fisher’s is seeking a qualified individual to fill our Field Service Technician position. This team member will be responsible for the satisfactory completion of all training programs to which he/she may be assigned and the execution of plans as required by Service Management. Generate service income. Provide excellent product service, effective sales support, and maintain timely and accurate communications between the customer and the Service Department.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide exceptional product and service support for Fisher’s Technology customers as indicated by your First Call Efficiency percentage.
  • Provide effective sales department support, communications, and Tip Lead program activity.
  • Generate service income thru billable parts and labor opportunities.
  • Use repair parts in an efficient manner as indicated by average parts consumption per call.
  • Properly maintain a low or no inventory variance of his/her car parts stock at all times.
  • Maintain all Fisher’s Technology property assigned to him/her in proper condition as verified by Field Service Supervisor during periodic ride-a-longs.
  • Accurately and in a timely manner complete all paperwork and or data entry as required for e-Automate and Remote Tech systems.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, manner, and a level of customer satisfaction in alignment with Fisher’s Technology Mission Statement. Encourage customer feedback and survey participation.
  • Assist on special projects as assigned by Service Management.
  • Report all situations regarding technical and/or customer-related problems directly to Service Management.
  • Successfully complete all required and/or voluntary training as outlined in Personal and Career Development objectives.
  • Participate in special training sessions, meetings, etc. as assigned by Management.
  • Learn and abide by all of Fisher’s Technology policies and procedures.
