This position will be responsible for directing daily work for Remittance Operations, specifically within the Payment Exception team for Home Equity. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, train, and provide performance feedback to staff and corresponding manager
  • Ensure the unit's work is completed on time and accurately by planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily activities of the moderately complex to complex work of less senior team members
  • Open and monitor Change Controls and JIRA tickets to ensure rolled out accurately and timely
  • Reviewing and writing procedures for multiple functions
  • Monitoring work in progress making adjustments as needed
  • Distributing daily work to meet deadlines and goals
  • Works closely with counterparts in Billings payment and payoff teams for impacted workflow/processes
  • Ensure compliance with Wells Fargo, investor, legal, regulatory, or business policies
  • Reviewing and processing rejects or exceptions related to the payments
  • Loan review and researching and resolving moderately complex issues

Hours:  Mon -Fri 8am - 5pm

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operations experience demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of cash management environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Home Equity servicing processes
  • Technical skills: Shaw, Hogan, PAC2000, ICMP, ECAR, Claude
  • Proven leadership in producing strong results by taking ownership of issues or assigned tasks and follow through to ensure team/business unit and customer satisfaction
  • Strong data entry skills including high accuracy, speed and 10 Key skills including strong mathematical, account balancing, and research skills
  • Must be a team player and able to build good working relationships.
  • Ability to identify processing issues, escalate and resolve accordingly
  • Previous experience with detail-oriented, time-sensitive work and a proven record of meeting and/or exceeding department standards
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines, and the ability to meet strict daily and monthly deadlines
