The primary function of the Enterprise Solutions Architect is to provide the technical strategy and supporting IT frameworks to guide the successful design, deployment, and operations of IT Infrastructure solutions both locally and in the cloud. The Enterprise Solutions Architect will oversee the technical design and implementation of Infrastructure Workplace services (End-user-facing) and supporting technologies. The Architect will lead the transformation in mobility services, desktop delivery, collaboration, enterprise networks, end-user experience management, and user support environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Develops comprehensive innovative technology and solution roadmaps to maintain an understanding of key capabilities that enable the roadmaps to meet client and stakeholder needs.
Develops and communicates technical standards, IT best practices, and deploys architecture governance processes. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards that drive the design of IT systems in the server, SAN, desktop, messaging, and Database areas across the enterprise.
Oversees the development of strategic designs and architectures for defined enterprise network environments. Plans for future-state technology and IT program investments.
Develops and coordinates cloud architecture. Works with management to develop and maintain the Enterprise Cloud Strategy and helps coordinate the effort involved in adoption.
Provides architectural and technical oversight of IT projects. Consults on multiple highly complex projects/programs/domains that require in-depth technical knowledge across several architectural disciplines.
Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase performance, reliability, scalability, availability, redundancy/resilience, cost-effectiveness, and infrastructure flexibility.
Collaborates with bank IT engineers to develop overall designs to support the organization and is responsible for presenting designs to EA for enterprise review.
Works with the security architects to ensure security is an integral part of all infrastructure architectural designs.
Participates as a member of the Architecture Review Board and provides feedback and presents architectural concerns to the ARB.
Interacts with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs with respect to availability, functionality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability with adherence to architectural goals and principles.
Research and stay up to speed in all areas of IT Infrastructure including Cloud Infrastructure. Key Competencies: o Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BA or BS Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Ten years of relevant experience in multiple IT areas with a minimum of three years of relevant architecture or business analyst experience (data, network, application, systems, etc.) required.
Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering, and integration required.
Experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), automation, orchestration, cost frameworks, trends, and industry-leading private/public/hybrid cloud vendor offerings.
Ability to build and maintain secure configuration standards.
Knowledge of secure web services technologies.
Experience with cloud security standards, B2B and B2C e-commerce and Integration Services, TCP/IP and networking skills, Windows and Linux Server administration, Network virtualization, Storage Systems (NAS, SAN).
CCNA/CCNP/PMP or CAPM Certifications are a plus.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) are a plus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints of customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
