About The Role The Commercial Banking Internship at First Security Bank is designed to immerse you in the real work, real relationships, and real decision-making that drive local businesses and our community forward. Throughout the 10-Week program, you and the members of the 2026 cohort will step directly into the world of commercial banking by taking part in a simulated commercial lending engagement, as well as contributing to current projects that will have you working alongside experienced bankers in real time.  As an intern, you won’t just observe. You’ll participate in managing risk, organize intricate data, negotiate complex commercial contracts, and deliver value to all the Bank’s stakeholders. In the simulated lending engagement, you and your team will analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, create loan presentations, and gain insight into how commercial credit decisions are made.
