Summer 2026 Banking Intern

Position General Responsibilities:

This internship provides an orientation to community banking through observation, exposure to regulatory compliance, and participation in day-to-day activities in several key departments: Operations/Teller, Customer Service, Commercial Lending, and Stockman Wealth Management.  Other departments may be added if found to be beneficial to the internship.

Internship Description:

Stockman Bank of Montana’s Billings Market is offering an internship position to a student in a College of Business program for the summer of 2026.  

Basic Qualifications:

1. Applicants should be entering their junior or senior year in Finance, Accounting or Economics at an accredited university,
2. Interested in a community banking career,  
3. Intelligent, detail oriented, analytical, and willing to collaborate,
4. Professional with demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, 
5. And possess a working knowledge and proficiency with office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
